Realm runner studios celebrates Achroma Launch at MCM ComicCon 2021

Where better for Achroma to make its first public debut than at MCM ComicCon London?

Although the capacity of ComicCon 2021 was lowered due to Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t have been more stoked. Stand S951 was right on the corner of the entrance to the ExCel Center in Royal Victoria Docks, and seeing thousands of people across the course of the weekend (at least 900 variations on a Loki theme) was thrilling.

We met so many new faces, and pre-orders of our first release - Achroma: The Curse of Curdle Hill were flying!

The absolute highlight of the weekend was sitting down to so many games with eager table-top gamers and helping those wandering around the city of Ludlam to find their true allegiance; Von Ruthro, Magus Elite, or Occultist with our Faction Quiz, which you can find here.

If you were at ComicCon, we hope you managed to bag yourself some ComicCon exclusives and chat to the original creative team behind all of the elements of our evolving card game.

A surprise to us was how many of you fell in love with our artwork at the stand - and at our spot in Artist’s Alley. Our concept creative Matt ‘Vinnie’ Vince has created a world inspired by Studio Ghibli and Legend of Zelda, you can find out more about Matt here, and even take a look at some of the posters we’ve created, based on popular demand!
